- A study published in the journal of chemical and pharmaceutical research on, “ assessing the curative properties of adathoda vasica against respiratory infections”, it was concluded, ‘ the study provides scinetific evidence on traditioal use of adathoda vasica leaf extract in treating bacterial infections.
- A study on protective effects of ocimum sanctum against smoke induced lung and neuronal tissue damage in rats, it was concluded that, “ o. Sanctum showed the presence of polyphenols, flavonoids, and fatty acids which might be responsible fore the anti-stress results.
- The study aslo showed that ‘o. Sanctum preserved the morphology (form) of lung and brain tissues of smoke stress.
- In a clinical efficacy trial of s. Xanthocarpum aministeted for 3 days for mild to moderate bronchial asthma, the result was a progressive improvement in the ventilatory function of asthmatic individuals over 3 days.
